The Coen brothers are exploring new territories
In recent years, television has attracted many Hollywood film makers - David Fincher, Stephen Soderbergh, David O. Russell, Woody Allen. Now the brothers Coens are ready to follow the example of their colleagues, as reported by the portal Collider .Despite the fact that the film "Fargo", directed by the Coens , formed the basis of the series of the same name, the filmmakers themselves acted only as executive producers. Their first real television project will be another western anthology called The Ballad of Buster Scruggs . There are no other details of the upcoming show yet. It is only known that Joel and Ethan will be in charge of directing and writing, and they will share production functions with Megan Ellison ("Queen of the South" / Queen of the South) and Sue Nagle (Outcast / Outcast ). The project comes from Annapurna Television , but no channel has yet acquired the rights to it. The show's creators are reported to be trying out a new concept, and some episodes of the show may even wait for release in theaters.  The Coens are no strangers to the western genre - their film No Country for Old Men won four Oscars , and in 2010 the movie Iron Grip was released, which won ten nominations from film academics.
