Image Trioscope Studio will delight fans of spy thrillers, political intrigue and fascinating stories of prison breaks. A young American company is preparing a series based on the article by Greg Nichols "The Havana Job".

The story is set in 1960, shortly after the end of the Cuban Revolution. The US government sends CIA agents to Cuba to wiretap Fidel Castro's home in Havana. The spies are caught and sent to the "Presidio Modelo" maximum security prison. Americans are enlisting the support of prisoners and opponents of the Castro regime at large to pull off a daring escape plan ...

Nichols himself describes the story in the spirit of Ocean's Eleven and Operation Argo. The series will be written by Michael LeCierre (The Grinch).
