Many of her works have already been filmed, and now the premiere is awaiting the adaptation of one of Funke's most famous books - "The Dragonlord".In the center of the cartoon will be a young silver dragon, his kobold friend and the orphan Ben. Together, this unusual trio will embark on an adventure to find the edge of heaven - a place where dragons can once again live in safety and harmony. The start of work on the animation tape was announced back in 2017, and we can confidently say that "Lord of the Dragons" is one of the most ambitious European cartoons over the past few years. The main characters in the English version are voiced by such stars as Freddie Highmore, Felicity Jones and Patrick Stewart. The film was directed by Tomer Yeshed, for whom Dragon Lord is a full-length debut.
