Will Daisy Ridley meet Sherlock Holmes?
Warner Bros. Studio ready to return to the screens the legendary detective from the books of Arthur Conan Doyle. This summer, Sherlock Holmes 3 found a director in the person of Dexter Fletcher (The Rocketman), and now the long-suffering project is finally entering the casting stage.Last spring we reported that Holmes could leave Foggy Albion and cross the ocean. It looks like these rumors will turn out to be true. According to Hollywood insiders, the filmmakers are looking for an actress for the role of an employee of the US Federal Marshals Service, working undercover as a crime reporter for the San Francisco Herald. Rumor has it that WB management would like to see Star Wars star Daisy Ridley in this role.  Recall that the triquel has been in development since 2011. This year, the studio finally agreed on working schedules with the main stars of the franchise - Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Filming for "Sherlock Holmes 3" will start early next year, and its USA premiere will take place on December 23, 2021.
