Another Remake of Perfect Strangers
American actress, screenwriter, producer and director Isa Rae (White Crow) will shoot an English-language remake of the Italian film Ideal Strangers, which has already served as the source of the idea for nine similar films in different countries, including Loudspeaker by the USA team Quartet I .The original film directed by Paolo Genovese tells about a group of friends who decide to play a curious game. During a joint dinner, the heroes leave in sight the switched on screens of smartphones so that everyone present can read messages in instant messengers and, moreover, hear conversations over the speakerphone. A comedy about love, friendship and betrayal makes friends wonder if they know each other so well. Isa Rae, two-time Golden Globe nominee, will write and produce the film, as well as play the lead role.
