”Quartet I” is preparing a sequel to ”Handsfree”
Producer and head of Mars Media Ruben Dishdishyan (Liquidation, T-34) announced the decision to release a sequel to the comedy Loudspeaker, which premiered in February this year. The sequel is planned to be filmed according to the original script, details about the start date of filming and the cast are still unknown.Dishdishyan wrote on Facebook that after the end of the filming of "Loudspeaker", it was decided to remove the sequel on one condition - the box office should exceed 500 million rubles. To date, the comedy has collected 508 million rubles, and its rental is still ongoing. The film is an adaptation of the Italian comedy “Ideal Strangers” and tells a funny story about friends who, while relaxing in the country, decided to play an unusual game: each player is obliged to read aloud all incoming messages, as well as talk on the phone, turning on the speakerphone. As a result, friends were able to learn so many new and interesting things about each other that they could not even think about.  The participants of the Quartet I worked on the script for Loudspeaker. The main roles were played by the actors Leonid Barats, Rostislav Khait, Kamil Larin and Alexander Demidov, who were beloved by the audience for the hits “What Men Talk About” and “Radio Day”. In addition to the cheerful "quartetists", Maria Mironova ("Earthquake"), Anastasia Ukolova ("Photo for Memory") and Irina Gorbacheva ("Arrhythmia") starred in the comedy, and Alexei Nuzhny ("I am losing weight") was in the director's chair.
