Shang Tsung and Scorpio Rush to Mortal Kombat
No sooner had the audience appreciated the choice of New Line for the roles of Kano and Sonya Blade, as the film adaptation of the video game Mortal Kombat accepted two more recruits. Casting experts have decided on the names of the actors who will embody the images of the insidious wizard Shang Tsung and the fire-breathing ninja nicknamed Scorpio.The souls of the participants in Mortal Kombat will be stolen by the Chinese actor Chin Han, whose track record includes the blockbuster The Dark Knight, the historical series Marco Polo and many other famous film and television projects. Shang Tsung can be safely called an old-timer of the franchise: the sorcerer acted as the final boss of the very first part of Mortal Kombat. The new performer of this role is faced with a difficult task, because the villain has already visited the big screen and brought cult status to the actor Carey-Hiroyuki Tagawa.  The new "Mortal Kombat", of course, could not take place without the participation of another popular character in the game series - Scorpio. The image of a ninja will be embodied by the Japanese Hiroyuki Sanada, who also has experience in high-profile American films and TV series, ranging from the action-adventure "The Last Samurai" to the serial drama "Lost." Inviting an actor of this caliber hints that the creators of the action movie will reveal the backstory of Scorpio and show a ninja without a branded mask.
