We are talking about the film Orphan Brooklyn, in the creation of which Norton took an active part not only as an actor, but also as a director and screenwriter. It is noteworthy that Edward decided to lead the shooting only for the second time in his career, and even after a 19-year hiatus, which, however, does not prevent Orphan Brooklyn from being called one of the most anticipated film awards season premieres.The main character of the picture is Lionel Essrog, who suffers from Tourette's syndrome, who works as a private investigator in Brooklyn in the 50s. Most of Lionel's colleagues are renegades and orphans like himself, relying on their boss Frank Minna in everything. For them, life without the charismatic King of Brooklyn is unthinkable, and few people care that Frank's orders often do not fit into the framework of the law. So when the boss is killed, Lionel's life is turned upside down, and now this freak with chaos in his head must find the killer ... Lionel Essrog, as you can easily guess, was played by Norton himself, and Bruce Willis will appear in the image of his boss Frank.
