Die Hard Looks Into Orphan Brooklyn
Ever since Orphan Brooklyn, based on the detective novel of the same name by Jonathan Letham, has been in the development of Warner Bros. and Edward Norton's Class 5 Films, the project has an impressive cast. Three-time Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe has already joined Brooklyn, and recently The Hollywood Reporter announced that Bruce Willis and Alec Baldwin will accompany the actor.The plot of the film will take the viewer to New York in the 50s and introduce the story of a private detective Lionel Essrog performed by Edward Norton himself. Essrog, living with Tourette's, witnesses the murder of his friend and mentor Frank Minna (Bruce Willis). When the protagonist finds a connection between the influential real estate developer Moses Randolph and the murder of a friend, all that remains is to find evidence, in which only Randolph's brother (Defoe) can help him ... Norton worked on the script together with the author of the novel Lethem, Rachel Shane, Stuart Bloomberg and Norton himself are responsible for the financial part of the project. The production team has already begun work on Orphan Brooklyn in New York.  The adaptation of Jonathan Letham's novel is Norton's second directorial project.
