Netflix prepares to heist
The X-Men franchise is about to reboot under the wing of Marvel Studios, so its former team is looking for new projects. The luckiest one was Simon Kienberg, who signed a solid contract with Netflix.The ex-curator of the superhero universe Fox has sold the script of the action-thriller Here Comes The Flood to the streaming platform. The deal is valued at several million dollars: a huge amount given the fact that not a single Hollywood star has yet been attached to the project. Apparently, Kinberg's script made a lasting impression on the heads of the streaming giant. The details of the thriller are kept secret. We only know that a picture of a robbery with elements of a love story awaits us.  The Flood Is Coming was Kinberg's first original screenplay since Mr. and Mrs. Smith: for the past 15 years he has either worked in a duet or adapted other people's works.
