Elizabeth Banks will become the invisible woman
Universal executives continue to search their library of classic monster movies for remake ideas. This time, the producers focused on the Invisible Woman.The original film by A. Edward Sutherland was released in 1940 in the wake of the success of the film adaptation of The Invisible Man and its Hollywood sequel. The main character of the story is model Kitty Carroll (Virginia Bruce), who agreed to a scientific experiment in order to gain invisibility and take revenge on her former boss. Despite its comedic tone, The Invisible Woman is considered part of the Monsters Universal horror franchise. The script for the remake was written by Erin Cressida Wilson (The Girl on the Train). According to insiders, viewers will find a cross between "American Psycho" and "Thelma and Louise." Elizabeth Banks (Charlie's Angels) will be in the director's chair. She will also play the main role.  Our foreign colleagues do not yet know whether "The Invisible Woman" will be connected with the plot of the new "Invisible Man", which will premiere on March 26 next year.
