Macho vs. nerds
Paramount Players is preparing a surprise for the global geek community. A subsidiary of Paramount Studios has bought the rights to the film adaptation of Planet of the Nerds.The first issue of the graphic novel by AHOY Comics will go on sale in the middle of this week. The comic will tell the story of three young macho men from the 80s who played sports, threw school parties and spanked nerds. One day, high school students get into an experimental cryogenic chamber and, of course, press the wrong button. Guys are waking up these days, when everyone around them is addicted to superhero themes and high technology. The heroes of the comic will have to get used to the idea that the world has turned upside down and turned into a paradise for nerds and geeks ... According to literary critics, the authors of the comic were inspired by such 80s film classics as Back to the Future, Revenge of the Dorks and True Genius.
