Witnesses to Sexual Problems
Maya Hawke, daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, during her relatively short career managed to play one of the March sisters in Little Women, star in the third season of Mysterious Events and visit 1960s Hollywood at the invitation of Quentin Tarantino himself. Now the actress will return to the past once again in the new indie drama Please Baby Please.Hawke will star in the film, and will be accompanied by Charlie Plummer (All the Money in the World) and Andrea Riseborough (Oblivion). The film was directed by Amanda Kramer, with whom Maya Hawke has already worked on "Women's World". Kramer wrote the script for the new project together with Noel Taylor. The drama will unfold in the 50s. The main characters, newlyweds Susie and Arthur, witness a brutal murder in surreal Manhattan, after which they come to the attention of a gang of scammers. Susie and Arthur are like an obsession for bandits, and all this will lead to the fact that the young couple will face a problem of sexual identity.  It is noteworthy that recently Maya Hawke completed filming in the film "Mainstream", the characters of which also face the problem of self-determination. Plummer has appeared in the series Finding Alaska this year, while Andrea Riseborough was last seen in Love Actually in New York, which premiered at the Berlinale.
