Indiana Jones: Finding the Perfect Script

Image Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford learned from the mistakes of the fourth Indiana Jones movie. In 2008, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" became the highest grossing part of the film series, but disappointed viewers with a weak plot. The creators of the franchise listened to the opinion of the public and decided to wait for a really strong script for the fifth film.

The preliminary plot of the new film about Indy's adventures was invented by David Kepp, who had already collaborated with Spielberg on the creation of Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and the already mentioned Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The script then transited through John Kasdan (Han Solo: A Star Wars Story) to Dan Fogelman. Apparently, the author of the TV hit "This is Us" completed his part of the work, since the text returned to Kepp's hands.

I'm doing my fifth Indiana Jones movie again,” admitted David. -We're still finding the right clues for the story. It seems we have found a really cool idea this time. "

Viewers can only hope that Kepp returned to the project with fresh ideas and finally completes work on the long-suffering script.
