Patricia Arquette, who recently got her third Golden Globe for her overly nurturing mom in Pretense, has landed the lead role in Apple TV's new TV drama thriller Severance. The lead male role was previously signed by Adam Scott ("Children are not a hindrance to sex").The filming of the new project will be led by Ben Stiller, for whom this will be the third collaboration with Patricia. In 1996, they starred together in the comedy Don't Wake the Sleeping Dog, and in 2018, Arquette played in the TV series Escape from Dannemora, where Stiller was already a director. For her role as a prison officer who helped two prisoners escape, the actress won a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination. The action of the novelty will unfold in the office of a company called Lumen Industries, whose goal is to bring the balance of work and personal life of a person to a new level. Scott will play Mark - an employee with a murky past who is trying with all his might to improve his life, Patricia will try on the image of his boss.
