Love until the grave
The American box office has not yet recovered from the effects of the coronavirus crisis, so some Hollywood studios have reoriented to films for European audiences. For example, XYZ Films has ordered the action-packed thriller The Trip, which will be filmed in Norwegian.The screenplay by John Niven (Kill Your Friends), Nick Ball (Everyone Needs Kat) and Tommy Vircola (Witch Hunters) tells the story of a married couple whose relationship is at a standstill. The heroes of the picture decide to spend the weekend in a hut on the shore of a picturesque lake. The couple pretend that the trip out of town is designed to save the family, while they themselves secretly plan to kill each other. The faithful do not yet suspect that they will have to forget old grievances and act together when a group of uninvited guests rushes into the hut ... The couple will be played by Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) and Axel Henny (The Martian).   Tommy Virkola will be in the director's chair for Journey.
