The real professor
Jemaine Clement ("Real Ghouls") and Gillian Jacobs ("Gardens of the Night") lead the cast of a comedy directed and written by Chris Ray, dubbed I Used To Go Here. The project is being produced by Myriad, which intends to find buyers for the film at the Toronto Film Festival starting in September.In addition to Clement and Jacobs, Hannah Marks (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency), Forrest Goodluck (Cameron Post's Wrong Parenting), Josh Wiggins (Leaving), Zoe Chao (Where Have You Gone, Bernadette?) ), Jorma Taccone (Super MacGruber) and Keith Micucci (Easy). In the center of the plot is a girl mired in a routine named Kate Conklin (Jacobs). Her engagement never ended with a wedding, her first book was not very successful, and all her friends have long had children. Suddenly, out of nowhere in Kate's life, one of her professors, David Kirkpatrick (Clement), appears, with a tempting offer to return to the alma mater to arrange readings there for the students. And Conklin starts hanging out at his home school: having fun with local youth and getting into various troubles.
