Casting: A Star Is Born at Magic Camp
After several unsuccessful attempts by Hollywood to film a remake of A Star is Born , Warner Bros. is as close as ever to realizing the idea. The Hollywood Reporter managed to find out that Ray Liotta ("Nicefellas", "Texas Rising" / Texas Rising >).There is no information yet about who the actor can play, but if the negotiations are successful, Liotta will join Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The latter will also make his directing debut and will lead the filming of the remake. The world premiere of the film is set for September 28, 2018 . The plot of the film tells the story of a young singer who makes her way to fame with the support of a successful, but forgotten by the public mentor. Ray Liotta this year has appeared on the screens in the drama "Notes from Paradise" and the comedy "Flock of Dudes", and not so long ago, the actor completed shooting in the film "Alone".  Edgar Ramirez ("The Bourne Ultimatum") is sent to the set of the fantasy thriller " Brightness ". Gillian Jacobs ( Community ) joins the cast of the comedy Magic Camp , which has already signed up with Adam Devine and Jeffrey Tambor ... The director's chair for the project was given to Mark Waters (Mean Girls).At the center of events is a guy who, at the request of his former mentor, returned as an advisor to the camp for wizards, where he had been during his youth. As a result, thanks to a group of novice sorcerers, the main character finds a new source of inspiration for himself.The filming of the tape will start in December in Los Angeles.
