Russell Sansgiri's production company Counterpart Pictures has acquired the film rights to a digital comic strip titled Blink from Tapas Media. It tells the story of a young African American woman who has been driven to the extreme. The enraged girl screamed at the top of her lungs and thus froze everything around her indefinitely. Lonely and lost, she now wanders around New York, not knowing that an ancient and not very friendly creature is walking in her footsteps.Sansgiri entered the film business thanks to his work with director Spike Jonze. In particular, he helped the director create the short films I Am Here with Andrew Garfield and We Were Once a Fairytale with Kanye West. Recently, as Executive Producer, he presented to the festival public the documentary Changing the Game about the sports competition of transgender schoolchildren, which won three professional awards. Tapas Media is a thriving company with cumulative views of all comics to date hitting the 5 billion mark.
