Align and Aniventure are ready to rectify the situation and create an animated remake of one of the most famous films of the legendary master of the comedy genre.The partners are preparing an animation film based on the satirical western "Shining Saddles". The 1974 tape earned nearly $ 120 million on a modest $ 2.6 million budget and received three Oscar nominations. The story centers on a dark-skinned sheriff who had to overcome the racist prejudices of the city's white population. The idea for a remake appeared in 2014. The painting "The Shining Samurai" was supposed to retain the key plot moves of the original, but transfer the action to medieval Japan and make anthropomorphic animals heroes. The cartoon was being prepared for release in 2017, but faced serious financial problems and plunged into a production hell.
