The Wolf Woman
After the plan to create a unified universe of monsters failed, Universal opted for smaller-scale projects, the main characters of which were to be created from the studio's classic horror films. A few days ago, the first reviews of the new version of The Invisible Man appeared in the press. Horror not only modernized the story of the title character, but also brought to the fore the victim of his cruelty, and this approach has borne fruit. Critics are scattered in praise, noting the excellent performance of Elisabeth Moss and the fact that the plot of the tape is more relevant than ever in modern reality.Apparently, the studio is on the right track, and on this wave, rumors of another project with a similar plot twist appeared in the press. Insiders report that Universal has a modern version of The Wolf Man in the works, with a female werewolf as the main character. Moreover, the major wants to invite Oscar winner Emma Stone (La La Land) for this role. During the construction of the Dark Universe, the remake of "The Wolf Man" changed several screenwriters, and Dwayne Johnson himself once dreamed of playing the title character. However, all these plans collapsed after the failure of The Mummy.  Man-wolf in the new millennium is frankly unlucky. If the last project about him was not implemented at all, then the previous version with Benicio del Toro in the lead role disappointed both critics and viewers, and could not even recoup its budget.
