Elizabeth Debicki cuts herself on the glass house

Image Elizabeth Debicki ("The Night Administrator") is in talks with Sony to replace Maggie Gyllenhaal on the filming of Ralph Fiennes' historical drama The Farnsworth House. The scriptwriter and director of the project is Richard Press, who shot the Bill Cunningham New York documentary.

The drama will take place in 1940s Chicago. The plot will focus on the intricate story of the creative and emotional union of the legendary modernist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (Fiennes) and his client, Dr. Edith Farnsworth (Debicki), who conceived the ambitious project of the glass house. What began as a business relationship soon turned into a whirlwind romance, and then Edith and Mies became bitter enemies, whose last date took place in court. According to the creators of the project, viewers will find"the story of how much blood spreads on the floor during the creation of a masterpiece".

Filming will start in late spring. As for Elizabeth's other roles, she will soon be seen in Christopher Nolan's new film Argument.
