Anaconda will find new victims
A prime example of a galaxy of popular actors fighting some creepy animal is Anaconda, in which Jennifer Lopez, Jon Voight, Ice Cube and Owen Wilson faced a huge snake in the Amazonian jungle. Soon a new generation of Hollywood stars will also meet with the reptile: Columbia Pictures studio is preparing a new "Anaconda".The project is positioned as a rethinking of an already familiar story, and not as a sequel or remake of 1997's "Anaconda". The film will be written by Evan Dougherty, who has a portfolio of blockbusters from Snow White and the Huntsman to Divergent and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The original "Anaconda", we recall, told about the film crew of the documentary film, which went on a journey across the Amazon in search of a mysterious tribe. The picture earned mostly negative reviews and was nominated for six Golden Raspberries, but over time it became a cult. As a result, the sequel to "Anaconda" reached the big screens, and a few more parts were released on TV.
