German Film Manufactures will team up with UK studios KJ Entertainment and Fireworks Entertainment on a film about Nazi Germany's nuclear program. The European triumvirate is filming Richard von Schirach's bestseller "The Night of Physicists".In 1939, Hitler began to think about creating nuclear weapons. To classify the work of scientists, the leadership of the Wehrmacht called the program "Uranium Project". During the Second World War, 22 research institutes in Germany joined in the creation of the bomb. Fortunately for the allies, the project was not implemented. In April 1945, American troops occupied the village of Haigerloch and discovered an experimental Nazi nuclear reactor. The allies soon arrested participants in the secret project, including the Nobel Prize winner in chemistry Otto Hahn and the recipient of a similar prize in physics, Werner Heisenberg. The British-American Operation Epsilon will play an important role in the film. The developers of the secret mission settled the scientists at Farm Hall in the village of Godmanchester.
