Bening will be in the same boat with Poirot
A year and a half ago, it was announced that screenwriter Michael Greene would again adapt Agatha Christie's detective novel for the wide screen. As it becomes clear from the news, the cast of the film "Death on the Nile" will be no less stellar than in the film adaptation of the book "Murder on the Orient Express". According to the latest rumors, Annette Bening will join the performer of the role of Hercule Poirot, Kenneth Branet.The American actress is best known for her roles in American Beauty, Twentieth Century Women and American President. Over the course of her long career, Bening has received four Oscar nominations and has won two Golden Globes for her leading roles in Kids Are Alright and Theater. Recently viewers watched the actress in the films "Life Itself" and "Captain Marvel". Detective Hercule Poirot will again be in the center of the plot of the film. Traveling along the Nile in a luxury ship, surrounded by high society, the Belgian is forced to interrupt his vacation to investigate the murder. When a man succeeds in identifying the circle of possible criminals, some of the suspects die and the case becomes even more mysterious.  The film also stars Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman, Jodie Comer and Leticia Wright. The premiere is scheduled for October 9, 2020.
