Gal Gadot will ask Poirot for help
Last year, Kenneth Branagh brought together many Hollywood stars on the Orient Express, and part of the success of his film about Hercule Poirot was due precisely to the impressive cast, for which critics had no questions. Studio 20th Century Fox quickly launched a sequel to the film, Death on the Nile, and it has every chance of collecting as many stars as Murder on the Orient Express.According to the website Deadline, the first person who wanted to buy a ticket for a steamboat sailing on the Nile was Wonder Woman herself. Gal Gadot will play one of the main roles in the new film adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel. It is expected that Kenneth Branagh will not only lead the shooting of the film, but also return to the role of Hercule Poirot. In Death on the Nile, a Belgian detective is drawn into the investigation of a death on a steamboat sailing on the Nile. As in Murder on the Orient Express, there will be plenty of suspects here. Gal Gadot got the role of Linnett Ridgway Doyle - a wealthy heiress who beat off the groom from her own girlfriend. The newly minted couple decides to spend their honeymoon in Egypt, but Jackie, left with nothing, pursues them, and therefore Linnett, fearing for his own life, turns to Poirot for help. In the 1978 film version, Linnett Doyle played Lois Chiles, and in the TV series Poirot, Emily Blunt.  The premiere of the new Death on the Nile is scheduled for December 20, 2019, and before that it will be possible to see Gal Gadot on the big screens in the sequel to Wonder Woman.
