The Bright Days of the Dark Justice League

Image Good news for fans of Occult Detective John Constantine, Vampire Andrew Bennett, Fortune Teller Madame Xanadu, Swamp Thing, and other DC characters with supernatural powers. Warner Bros. Studio Management finally decided on the fate of the long-suffering film adaptation of the comic book "Dark Justice League".

DC Mystic Heroes teamed up in September 2011. At the end of the next year, rumors circulated in Hollywood about an upcoming film adaptation of the comic. The master of gloomy fairy tales, Guillermo del Toro, could have been involved in staging the picture. Unfortunately for the Mexican fans, the film never got off the ground. In the summer of 2016, Del Toro was replaced by Doug Lyman, but the next spring he left the project to work on the fantastic thriller The Tread of Chaos.

The authors of "Constantine" and "Swamp Thing" prepared their own versions of the Dark League, but both series were closed before these plans became reality. As a result, viewers limited themselves to the cartoon version of the comic.

It looks like the WB is finally preparing a game picture. Last fall, the studio struck a multi-million dollar deal with JJ Abrams's Bad Robot. On the web, they immediately started talking that the major would involve the eminent director and producer in the creation of the DC Universe. It was assumed that Abrams would return Superman to the screens, but now insiders claim that WB and Bad Robot are preparing film and television projects about the John Constantine team.

Foreign sources find it difficult to say whether the film and television versions of the "Dark Justice League" will be linked. Hopefully, the studio will not delay the official comments.
