Another movie based on DC comics has lost its director. According to The Wrap, citing sources at Warner Bros., Doug Lyman has left the director's post for Justice League Dark. The reasons for his departure are not disclosed.

Note that Warner Bros. has been striving to movie this series for several years. Initially, the studio planned to bring in Guillermo Del Toro, but he also dropped out, citing a conflict in movieing schedules. Further steps to save the movie adaptation will be announced in the foreseeable future.

Justice League Dark is one of the youngest DC comics teams ever, debuting in 2011. Its creators were such popular characters as John Constantine, Dead Man, Shade, Madame Xanadu and others. The composition of the Dark Justice League has changed several times, but its tasks remained the same - to engage in battles with villains that the members of the first Justice League, which included Superman, Batman, Aquaman and other popular superheroes, could not cope.

Previously, individual members of the Dark League have appeared in feature movies or TV shows, in particular, John Constantine, but together they did not appear on the big screens.
