Tiger Woods TV Series Got Writer
The biographical mini-series about the famous golfer Tiger Woods took one step closer to the screens: the project found a screenwriter in the person of Rodney Barnes, who worked as a producer on the fantasy American Gods and the teenage television comics The Runaways.The plot will be based on the 2018 bestseller by Jeff Benedict and former CBS News correspondent Armen Keteyan. The so far unnamed project will be produced by Entertainment 360 and Spoke Studios. On which channel the show will be released and who will play the main role has not yet been announced. The book is about one of the greatest comebacks in sports history. The action kicks off in 2009 when Tiger was involved in a car accident that sparked a scandal involving a golfer cheating on his wife. After this event, Woods announced that he was retiring from the sport, and in 2010 changed his mind. While working on the biography, Jeff and Armen spoke to more than two hundred of Tiger's friends and acquaintances, including other professional golfers and Woods' personal chiropractor, Mark Lindsey.
