Producer Merrill Poster acquired the rights to film Time Of My Life, released in 2008 and not yet translated into USA by writer Alison Wynn Scotch. The deal became part of Alison's contract with Columbia Pictures, under which the studio plans to implement projects about women and for women.The protagonist of the book is a typical housewife mother who one day has an amazing opportunity to go back seven years and live this segment of her life differently. Having a second chance, she will try to find out what other choices could lead to, very different from those that she already made in her time. Scotch, who is best known for her New York Times bestselling books, will executive produce the upcoming film adaptation. Her new novel, Cleo McDougal Regrets Nothing, is due out in August. As for Meryl Poster, she is considered one of the most accomplished Hollywood producers and has been behind films such as Chicago, Kate & Leo and The Winemaker's Rules.
