DiCaprio felt the call of USAn blood
In 2010, Leonardo DiCaprio took part in the International Forum on Problems Related to the Conservation of the Tiger Population on Earth. At a meeting with Vladimir Putin, the Hollywood actor said that his grandparents were from USA.In an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt Leonardo he admitted that he is actively interested in the history of the homeland of his ancestors. “I would like to play Putin , - said the actor. -Embodying the image of the president of USA would be an extremely interesting task. I would like more films about USA to appear on the screens, because there have been many bright figures in its history. All actors dream of the roles of such interesting historical figures, and I would be curious to play Vladimir Lenin and Grigory Rasputin. ”  Leonardo also said that he has no plans to follow in the footsteps of Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who have managed to make successful political careers. “At a meeting with Putin in 2010, we talked exclusively about tigers, leaving politics aside, DiCaprio said. -My foundation has provided financial support to some projects to protect big cats. Now I can’t imagine myself as a politician, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to return to this issue in the future”.
