Frank Grillo: “There will be a lot of politics in“ Judgment Night 3 ”
We have previously reported that Frank Grillo is ready to return to the role of a police sergeant in the third part of the " Doomsday " franchise. Williams' hero Carmelo Jones to confront the villains.In an interview with reporters Collider , the actor admitted that he liked the script for the new film, although at first the idea of the very first “Judgment Night” did not arouse much enthusiasm in him: “I cannot say that I was delighted from the first picture, but when James DeMonaco sent me the script for the sequel, I realized that I would definitely participate in the filming. ” The performer of the role of Leo Barnes even gave some intriguing details of “ Judgment Night 3 ”: “The third film will be better than the second, it will have a lot of politics. I can't wait to start filming! ” Also Grillo shared with reporters new information about his hero and the goals that he pursues: “You will definitely see where he came from, how he became what he is, and how he plans it change. Being on guard of the law, he intersects with a politicized activist, and together they can deal a good blow to the system. It will be interesting. I love good old bi-movies like Death Wish and all kinds of Westerns with Clint Eastwood. We are planning to shoot something like that.  The actor also promised that in the third " Doomsday " the filmmakers will address some pressing social issues: “We Americans consider ourselves a classless society, but just look how we treat the poor!".
