Cate Blanchett will be the queen of comedy
Almost every day there is news about an ambitious project being prepared in Hollywood, but not so often movie fans are delighted with the news that two Oscar winners will work on one film at once. Collider announces that Cate Blanchett will star in the biopic of famous actress Lucille Ball, and Aaron Sorkin will write the script for the future drama.Blanchett has won two Oscars : the first for her role as Katharine Hepburn in Aviator, and the second for her performance in the drama Jasmine. Sorkin , in turn, was awarded the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Prize for the script for the biopic Social Network. Lucille Ball is considered an icon of the comedy genre in Hollywood, and in her homeland she was dubbed the Queen of Comedy . The actress has been nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards 13 times and has won four awards. Among her most famous works are sitcoms such as "I Love Lucy" ( I Love Lucy ), "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" ( The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour ) , "The Lucy Show" ( The Lucy Show ) and "Here's Lucy" ( Here's Lucy ). The upcoming biographical drama based on the life and work of Ball has already received approval from the actress's family. Her children are Lucy Arnaz Jr. and Desi Arnaz Jr. will be engaged in producing the project.  Movies with Blanchett to be seen soon include the dramas Carol and Truth ( Truth ). As for Aaron Sorkin , he wrote the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic and recently completed the text for the film Molly's Game ( Molly's Game ), which will focus on about Princess of Poker - Molly Bloom.
