DreamWorks will shoot home video
According to the journalists of The Tracking Board , the management of DreamWorks decided to remove the family comedy project Home Movies from the shelf.The idea for the film was born within the walls of the studio five years ago. Sean Levy ("Night at the Museum") was appointed producer of the tape, Jared Stern got the task to write the script, and Vince Vaughn applied for the main role. A year later, the company changed the direction of the plot development towards a supernatural drama, in connection with which the post of screenwriter was transferred to Thomas McCarthy. Reportedly, DreamWorks decided to give the project back a comedy touch and entrusted the reworking of the text to the authors of the animation show "Napoleon Dynamite" ( Napoleon Dynamite ) Hubbel Palmer and Chris Bowman. The main character of the film will be a man who, with the help of a family video archive, gets the opportunity to change his past. At one time, the plot of Home Movies deserved a flattering comparison with the famous Christmas story "It's a Wonderful Life".
