Reese Witherspoon and her production company Pacific Standard took on the screen version of Garth Callahan's memoir Napkin Notes: Make Lunch Meaningful, Life Will Follow , which is essentially are a collection of notes addressed by a father to his daughter. Currently, Reese and the studio New Line developing this project are looking for a screenwriter who can be trusted with the adaptation of such a difficult but very inspiring material.Garth began writing notes to his daughter Emma when she was still very young. At first, he made small reminder notes on napkins, which he put in her lunchbox. However, after Callahan was diagnosed with cancer, this touching ritual acquired a special meaning for him and for Emma , and the notes themselves became more meaningful. Since then, the man has emerged victorious from the battle with his cancer several times, and his daughter managed to finish school ...
