Gambit is looking for a director
Last month we reported that Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) has stepped down from the director's chair on the adaptation of the comic book Gambit . Filming is due to begin in the coming months, forcing 20th Century Fox studio management to urgently seek a new steering project.As it became known to journalists Deadline , the film company is currently negotiating with Doug Lyman ("The Bourne Identity", "Edge of the Future"), whose candidacy is supported by the performer of the role of the mutant Remy LeBeau - Channing Tatum. Earlier, the creators of " Gambit " started looking for a female lead. According to rumors, the Frenchwoman Lea Seydoux managed to get ahead of her competitors at the finish line, who will soon be shown on the screens in the movie "007: SPECTRUM".  Lyman recently finished filming the crime thriller Mena, starring Tom Cruise. The plans for a successful creative union also include work on the sequel " Faces of the Future " and the science fiction film "Luna Park".
