Official: X-Men Universe Coming to TV Series
The official site of Marvel Comics announces that two series based on comic book characters will appear on television at once - 20th Century Fox Television will take on “ Hellfire Club ”( The Hellfire Club ) and FX Productions will tell the audience the story of The Legion . Both productions will feature Marvel - Marvel Television .The series, tentatively titled Hellfire , will tell the story of a government special agent who discovers that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is collaborating with a secret society of millionaires called " Hellfire Club ". The action takes place in the late 60s of the XX century. Representatives of the “ Club ” of the highest rank, its “ Inner circle ”, are influential people with extraordinary powers, capable of intervening in the events that determine the course of world history. Club members, frequent opponents of the X-Men , have already appeared on the screens, and more recently: Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost opposed the superhero team in the movie "People X: First Class.  First Class producer and director of four film adaptations of X-Men Brian Singer will serve as the show's executive producer. The history of Legion is one step closer to TV screens. FX Productions has already recruited crime drama creator Noah Hawley to write the pilot episode. Hawley is also reported to serve as executive producer. The Legion will tellabout the son of Professor X - David Haller ( Legion ). Heller , suffering from schizophrenia since adolescence, is forced to spend the lion's share of his life in psychiatric clinics. During one of the next courses of treatment, an encounter with a mysterious patient leads David to the idea that the voices and pictures from his head may be more real than anyone can imagine.
