DiCaprio and Maguire plotting a coup in Cuba
Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire will complement their impressive production films with the spy thriller The Havana Affair , reports The Tracking Board ... The script for the film by Wayne Lemon has already earned a flattering comparison with the Oscar-winning "Operation Argo" and Bond movies.The plot of the tape will be based on real events that took place in the early 60s in Cuba. In his first year in office, US President John F. Kennedy assigned the Central Intelligence Agency to develop a secret program of propaganda, psychological warfare, and sabotage that would overthrow the communist regime on Liberty Island. The plan to remove Fidel Castro from power consisted of 33 points - according to the number of species of the mongoose family, as a result of which the Cuban project went down in history under another name - " Operation Mongoose"".  Insiders have not yet announced whether Leonardo and Toby are planning to star in the thriller. Currently Maguire can be seen on the big screens in the biopic Sacrificing a Pawn, and next month he will pass the baton to his friend at the USA box office. Viewers will be able to appreciate DiCaprio 's titanic work on creating the image of the pioneer Hugh Glass in the drama "The Survivor" on January 7 .
