UCP goes to primeval forests
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the comic from Boom! Studios , titled The Woods , goes to small screens - the TV adaptation rights were acquired by Universal Cable Productions .The graphic novel series, created by James Tynion IV and artist Michael Dialinas , is a mix of science fiction and horror.It tells how 437 students, 52 teachers and another 24 people from the staff of a school located in the suburbs of Milwaukee, one day disappear without a trace. And these 513 people mysteriously travel a distance of many light years, beyond the boundaries of the explored universe, where they find themselves in a primitive wild world. What is this place and why are they here? The answers to all these questions will shock each of the characters ... Ross Ritchie and Stephen Christie will be executive producers of the new project.
