Spielberg and Trevorrow's Adventure Together
Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow are preparing a new mysterious project. According to the site The Hollywood Reporter , the duo of filmmakers will produce an adventure film called Powerhouse . It will be directed and written by a newcomer to the world of big cinema - Emily Carmichael .The details of the project are still kept in the strictest confidence. It is only known that his idea belongs to Trevorrow himself, and for Carmichael the future film will be the largest work in her entire career: before that, Emily performed only in as a director of short films and animated series (“The hunter and the swan discuss their meeting”). Carmichael was recently featured in the news of the Captain Marvel blockbuster: insiders consider Emily one of the main contenders for the director's chair.  Previously, Spielberg and Trevorrow worked closely on the set of Jurassic World. Although the former was listed only as a producer of the picture, he also helped Colin in writing the blockbuster script. In the work on the new project, the filmmakers will be accompanied by Simon Kinberg, who is well known to film fans from the X-Men universe, as a producer.
