USA Network reveals new Founding Fathers
As it became known to The Hollywood Reporter , USA Network has ordered a pilot episode of Poor Richard's Almanack ( Poor Richard's Almanac >).The idea for the show belongs to Jim D. Gray ("Hannibal" / Hannibal ) and Miguel Sapochnik ("Dr. House" / House MD ), who will act as executive producers of the project. The new series will unfold today and in the future. The show's creators describe it as a thriller about a group of people destined to become the new Founding Fathers. After the attack of another state, America is on the verge of extinction, as a result of which the main characters must revive their country and return democracy to society. By the way, the title Poor Richard's Almanac was an annual pamphlet published by Benjamin Franklin. In this edition, one of the Founding Fathers of America gave readers useful advice, talked about the weather forecast, and placed interesting riddles.
