Zachary Quinto got a role in Hannibal Season 3
Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek") has a guest role on the third season of NBC's "Hannibal." According to Entertainment Weekly, Quinto will appear in at least one episode and play Bedelia's patient Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson). Quinto, who has co-starred in the slap miniseries, which at the time of writing Notes, airing on NBC, will star in Hannibal before heading to Vancouver, BC this summer to star in Star Trek 3 as Spock. He also plays The Guardian's Glenn Greenwald in Oliver Stone's Snowden, which began movieing this week. At the Hannibal set, Quinto will meet Brian Fuller. with whom he worked in the TV series "Heroes". Quinto, however, will not return as his character, serial killer Sylar, in the sequel to the cult show, Heroes Rebirth. As a reminder, the cast of Hannibal's upcoming third season has had some changes. So, Michael Pitt dropped out of the project, playing the role of a sadistic sociopath Mason Verger, who will now be replaced by Joe Anderson.
