According to The Hollywood Reporter , Warner Bros. and RatPac Entertainment have acquired the film rights to Ben Mezrich “ Once Upon a Time in USA ”, which will go on sale on June 2.The idea for the novel Ben was submitted by director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Hercules), who is personally acquainted with several oligarchs from USA. The book will be based on real events, and in the center of its plot will be thehistory of the construction of empires by the "godfather of the Kremlin" Boris Berezovsky and his young protege Roman Abramovich ... Peru Mezrich owns the bestseller Reluctant Billionaires , which formed the basis for the plot of the movie "The Social Network". Adapting the book for the big screen earned Aaron Sorkin an Oscar award.  The production functions will be taken over by James Packer, John Cheng and Brett Ratner .
