Fox will play tag with zombies
Deadline reports that 20th Century Fox has acquired the film rights to the Tag comic strip by Keith Giffen and Cody Chamberlain.The original graphic novel follows a man being touched by a strange stranger. To his horror, the protagonist discovers that soon after, his body begins to slowly decompose. The protagonist will either try to find a cure or transmit the zombie virus by playing tag with another person ... The filmmakers expect to combine elements of a psychological thriller and supernatural horror, as well as to make a representative of the fair sex the protagonist of the film adaptation. It will be directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Ben Collins and Luke Petrovsky.  Leonetti has a wealth of experience working on horror movies. Over the past few years, he has directed Astral, The Conjuring and a number of episodes of the hit TV series Sleepy Hollow , and last Halloween his horror movie The Curse of Annabelle earned more than $ 255 million with a modest budget of $ 6.5 million .
