Director found for the second ”Curse of Annabelle”
Studio New Line has decided on a director for the sequel to the horror movie "The Curse of Annabelle ", reports the portal Variety . The second part will be directed by David Sandberg .The first film was directed by John R. Leonetti, and the film was about an evil spirit possessed by a doll. The original is set in 1969, but there is no information about the plot of the sequel yet. Annabelle Wallace, Ward Horton and Alfrey Woodard starred in Annabelle's Curse . The cast of the sequel has yet to be confirmed. The first part managed to gross over $ 250 million at the worldwide box office with a modest budget of $ 6.5 million .  The production functions of the new project are assigned to Peter Safran and James Wan, and the script is written by the author of the first film, Gary Duberman. The sequel is set to premiere on May 19, 2017 .
