The 68th Directors Guild of America Awards ceremony took place today at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by actress Jane Lynch. The DGA ranks include about 16 thousand directors who annually celebrate the achievements of their colleagues in the field of feature films, documentaries and television. Over the past decade, the Directors Guild Directors Guild Awards winners in the Best Feature Film Director category have matched the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences nine times.
