Chris Rock to host Oscars 2016
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , Chris Rock will host the 88th American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards.“I'm happy to have the opportunity to host the ' Oscars 'again," announced the comedian. For the first time Chris hosted the 2005 World's Major Film Awards. Then many television critics considered a number of jokes Rock rude and straightforward, but this did not prevent the channel ABC to collect 42 million Americans on the screens. Over the years, this result was surpassed only once, when almost 44 million people in the United States watched Ellen DeGeneres' stellar selfie.  This February, the show, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, had the worst ratings in seven years. Low viewership rates led the Academy to decide to change the producers of the ceremony. Reginald Hadlin and David Hill will debut in this capacity next year.  The 88th Oscars Awards will take place on February 28, 2016 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
