The American Film Academy has unveiled a schedule for the 88th, 89th and 90th awards ceremonies. According to the official press release received by the Novosti Kino portal, Oscar 2016 will be held on February 28, 2016, Oscar 2017 - on February 26, 2017, and Oscar 2018 - on March 4, 2018. A detailed schedule of preparations for the 2016 ceremony was also announced. On November 14, 2015, the honorary awards will be presented. On January 8, 2016, voting of the members of the Film Academy will begin, which will end on January 14. On February 8, 2016 a solemn presentation of the list of nominees for the awards will take place. February 12, 2016 - a gala reception in honor of the nominees. The final stage of voting will end on the day of the awards presentation - February 28, 2016. The show host has not been appointed at the time of this writing. As a reminder, in 2015 it was the popular Hollywood actor Neil Patrick Harris. Despite his efforts, the TV coverage of the 2015 Oscars has dropped to a six-year low. The events of the show were followed by 36.8 million American viewers. A year earlier, the ceremony had an audience of 43.7 million viewers, a drop of about 16 percent.
