Oscar - 2017 has found a host
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced that Jimmy Kimmel will host the 89th Academy Awards .The popular American showman already has experience in hosting events of such a high level: in his career, Kimmel has twice had the opportunity to entertain guests at the Emmy awards. He last hosted a major television event this September. Academics hope that Jimmy will be able to provide the " Oscars - 2017 " with a tangible increase in viewership, since the previous ceremony of the prestigious film awards showed the worst rating in the last 11 years.  Previously, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts decided to completely change the production team for the ceremony. Jennifer Todd (Remember) and three-time Oscar nominee Michael De Luca (Social Network) will debut in this capacity next February. “ Michael and Jennifer have great ideas for the upcoming ceremony, said Kimmel . -I was literally infected with their enthusiasm.
