Universal will clone
As it became known to the journalists of The Tracking Board , the studio Universal has begun work on a full-length adaptation of the comic book David Schulner " Clone " .In the center of the plot of the graphic novel isDoctor Luke Taylor , whose life is turned upside down the day his bloodied clone appears in his house. Luke learns about the existence of dozens of his doppelgangers, who seek to get to his pregnant wife. Taylor will have to save his wife and figure out how and why his copies were born ... The original comic went on sale in 2012, and a few months later, the television division of Universal acquired the adaptation rights. The series was developed by the channel NBC , but its bosses were forced to abandon the project after the premiere of another drama about the clones - "The Dark Child" ( Orphan Black ).  Last spring, the leadership of the SyFy channel expressed interest in the television adaptation of the comic and offered Schulner the post of screenwriter. David already has TV experience: he authored several episodes of the sci-fi series The Event ( The Event ) and consulted the vampire drama Dracula ( Dracula ). It has yet to be revealed whether the desire of the Universal bosses to bring the Clone heroes to the big screens is a cross on the SyFy channel project.
